问题现象：
某个应用连接mariadb数据库时提示：
错误:数据库连接可能发生错误,请检查connectionInfo.jsp的数据库连接属性。
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'
但当前服务器上有多个数据库被多个应用使用，均可以正常访问，就这个应用连接失败。
数据库连接信息为：
该连接信息与其他应用连接信息并无不同，数据库连接驱动也一样......
排查过程
1、检查用户权限
开始怀疑是用户权限问题，所以用以下sql语句检查用户权限
sql
SHOW GRANTS FOR 'root'@'localhost';
结果显示：
对应数据库的授权是有的。
2、检查连接限制
怀疑是数据库连接数满了，所以再检查 最大连接数 ：
sql
SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'max_connections';
SHOW STATUS LIKE 'Threads_connected';
结果：
连接数远远小于最大连接数，所以跟连接数也没有关系。
网络与防火墙设置 都不影响 连接，因为是localhost直接访问人，端口、数据库名称也是对的，连接字符串 也不存在多余的空格。

4、 检查插件认证方式
密码验证有不同的认证插件，例如 mysql_native_password 或 caching_sha2_password。确保用户使用的认证方式与客户端兼容。
sql
SELECT plugin FROM mysql.user WHERE User='root' AND Host='localhost';
结果是：也不影响，因为本身就是localhost......
5、数据库状态检查
确认目标数据库是否处于正常运行状态，未被锁定或处于维护模式
