Manuscripts have to be submitted as PDF files, without author names, and including line numbers.

Manuscripts should be prepared using ACM's templates found at:

http://www.acm.org/publications/authors/submissions

The document style of ACM TOG is different from most other ACM publications. ACM's submission and publication workflow depends on the system used for document preparation. Currently only the LaTeX templates provide a close approximation of TOG's style, and authors are encouraged to use LaTeX if possible. Specifics for creating TOG submissions:

LaTeX: the required options for "\documentclass" are "acmtog" to select the TOG template, "anonymous" to hide the author names, and "review" to generate line numbers; the correct style for the bibliography is "\acmauthoryear".

Word: use the Submission Template provided by ACM and turn on line numbering (Layout - Line Numbers - Continuous).

Authors are encouraged to keep the presentation concise. It may be appropriate to place content in supplementary electronic material that accompanies the submission. Such supplementary material is made available with the paper in the ACM Digital Library after the paper is published.
