保研英语面试

使用说明：

1. 适用于复试英语口语及中文问答；

2. 先熟悉话题思路，筛选模板并结合自身情况填写替换；

3. 每个话题确定一个答案模板背诵，避免死记硬背英文，先理解中文思路再记忆英文表达；

4. 模板语料丰富，无需因篇幅顾虑，重点是形成个人版本。

注意事项：

1. 没听清/听不懂问题：不用Pardon?/What?，礼貌反问，

例：

• Sorry, I didn't catch the question, could you repeat it in another way?

• 若仅不确定某个单词：Sorry, what does 单词 mean? Could you explain it, please?

2. 仍听不懂/不会回答：结合关键词铺垫，转向熟知内容，

例： - I'm afraid that I'm not quite familiar with this topic, but from my point of view, 关键词相关内容

3. 老师误解/未理解回答：主动请求解释，

例： - Excuse me, I guess I didn't make myself clear. May I explain further?

4. 得到老师肯定：感谢并表达努力决心，

例： - Thanks for your compliment. I am far from perfect. I will continue to work hard in the future.

5. 语塞/找不到表达：用模糊词语或填充词赢得思考时间，

例：In regard to... actually, I ever thought about it... / As you know,...

一、自我认知类话题

1. 兴趣（hobby/interest）

问题：Do you have any hobbies that you are proud of? / What's your favorite hobby?

What do you like to do in your free time? 你空闲时间喜欢做什么？

回答思路：点明兴趣+原因（好处/收获）

参考回答：I enjoy doing some simple sports like jogging and rope skipping. This not only keeps me healthy , but also relieves my stress effectively. It helps me stay in a good mental and physical state in my daily study and life. I also like listening to music, especially R&B and Kpop, which helps me relax after a long day of studying.

What is your favorite movie? 你最喜欢的电影是什么？

My favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. It is a very classic film. The story tells us never to lose hope and stick to our beliefs. Whenever I face difficulties in study or research, this movie always gives me strength.

What's your favorite season? Why?

My favorite season is spring. It is warm and beautiful. Birds sing and flowers bloom. It marks the start of a new year and stands for new life and hope. I feel full of energy in spring.

How do you usually deal with stress? 你通常如何应对压力？

When I feel stressed, I usually take a short break and do some simple sports like jogging and rope skipping. It helps me relieve my stress effectively. Besides, I will sort out my tasks clearly to avoid being overwhelmed.

What role do you prefer to play in a team? 在团队中你更倾向于扮演什么角色？

2. 特长（personal strengths）

问题：What are your personal strengths?

回答思路：点明特长+培养原因 → 特长带来的收获

生活类参考回答：I like taking photos and recording daily life. I often take pictures of beautiful scenery and interesting moments around me. I also learned to use photo editing apps to make my works more vivid. This hobby makes me more careful about life and helps me record wonderful memories.

专业技能类参考回答：I am familiar with the mainstreamdeep learning algorithms , especially generative models including GANs and Diffusion Models. I can develop and debug models withPyTorch. I can use PyCharm proficiently, and I am able to set up and use cloud environments. I have solid programming skills in Python and C++. In addition, I understand standard academic writing rules and can use research tools such as LaTeX and Zotero for paper writing.

3. 优点（strength/merits）

问题：What is your greatest strength? / Do you have any particular merits?

回答思路：点明优点（做事有计划，自律，勤奋) ，举例（总是做计划），好处（对生活有掌控感，有源源不断的动力）

参考回答：I think am well-organized, self-disciplined and hard-working. For example, I always make clear plans for my study and life and stick to them . which gives me a sense of control over life. Moreover, I usually set short-term and long-term goals to motivate myself to keep moving forward.

4. 缺点（weakness/shortcoming）

问题：What is your greatest shortcoming?

回答思路：点明非致命缺点（直性子忽略他人的感受），改进

参考回答：Sometimes I'm too straightforward when pursuing things, so I ignore others' feelings. My straightforwardness helps with work efficiency, but I will learn to consider others' feelings to avoid hurting them unintentionally.

5、敬佩的人

Who is the person you admire most? 你最敬佩的人是谁？

The person I admire most is Marie Curie. She was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize. She was a great scientist and spent all her life on research. I admire her dedication and modesty. She cared more about science than fame.

How do you react when someone disagrees with you? 当别人不同意你的观点时如何回应？

If someone disagrees with me, I will listen to his opinions carefully first. Then I will communicate with him calmly and discuss our different ideas. I'm glad to accept reasonable suggestions.

二、家乡家庭

5. 家乡（hometown）

问题：Where are you from? / Tell something about your hometown.

家乡景点+人文风情+对自身性格的影响

参考回答：I am from Dujiangyan of Chengdu, a beautiful city famous for its thousand-year-old water conservancy project built by Li Bing and his son, as well as the natural scenery of Mount Qingchengwith its green mountains and fresh air. People here are warm and hospitable with a relaxed temperament. This kind of hometown atmosphere has shaped my easy-going and open personality, which makes it easy for me to get along with others and make friends.

6. 家庭（family）

问题：Could you tell me something about your family?

家庭基本情况（人口、父母工作）→ 家庭氛围/父母对个人的性格/学习/生活影响

参考回答：I live with my parents and my younger brother. We have a warm and relaxing family atmosphere. My parents are ordinary people with ordinary jobs, but they are hard-working, positive and love their life deeply. They always encourage my brother and me to study hard and become useful and responsible people to society. Their kindness and support make me confident and eager to learn.

三、本科学习类话题

1. 专业书籍（professional books）

问题：What professional books have you read before? / What's the main idea of this text?

回答思路：点明书籍名称（避开热门书/面试老师的书）+ 喜爱书籍的原因（语言简洁易懂）+ 收获（更好地理解，拓宽视野）

参考回答: I read Deep Learning from Scratch on my teacher's recommendation. It is often nicknamed the "Fish Book" because its cover features a fish. The book uses simple and easy-to-understand language, making it very friendly for deep learning beginners. Its main content covers some basic knowledge of deep learning, ranging from perceptrons to some practical cases of deep learning in image processing. It has helped me have a better understanding of deep learning.

2. 本科学校（university）

问题：Could you tell us something about your university?

回答思路：点明本科学校 → 表达对母校的感谢 → 列举在学校的收获（思想/学习/生活）, 注意切忌批判母校，突出充分利用学校资源提升自己。

参考回答：I study at xxx University. Although its engineering programs are not strong，it offers me a chance to develop my abilities. I studied hard and won scholarships many times. Three years' study made me independent and optimistic. I really appreciate the education my university gave me.

3. 本科最喜欢的课程（favorite subject）

问题：What is your favorite subject and why?

回答思路：点明课程 → 喜欢的原因（老师讲课风格/课程本身特点）→ 学习收获

回答要点：

• 原因：老师逻辑清晰/严厉负责、课程理论+实践结合、选修课引发专业兴趣等；

• 收获：形成系统的专业认知、掌握学习工具、开阔研究视野等。

参考回答：Data Structure / Computer Organization / Operating System / Computer Network

My favorite course is Data Structure / Computer Organization / Operating System / Computer Network. The teacher has solid professional knowledge and explains core theories and practical principles of this subject. 4. 科研经历（scientific research）

问题：Could you say something about your experience of scientific research?

参考回答：my undergraduate research focuses on deep learning and image processing. I independently designed a hyperspectral image reconstruction model. In the first semester of my junior year, I published a paper as the first author, which was accepted by ICME , a CCF B-ranked conference. In addition, I participated in the General Program of Chongqing Natural Science Foundation hosted by my supervisor, which centers on multi-focus image fusion. I assisted in completing the implementation and debugging of relevant codes, and also helped my supervisor finish the project application. These experiences have greatly improved my research capabilities and helped me develop the spirit of not fearing failure and daring to try.

I have learned a lot in college. I studied core courses like Data Structures, Operating Systems and Computer Networks, and mastered professional computer knowledge. Besides basic knowledge, I took part in research and competitions. These experiences have improved my research skills and helped me develop the spirit of not fearing failure and daring to try.

问题：Have you ever won any prizes in university?

回答思路：点明荣誉（奖学金、竞赛奖项、证书、称号等）→ 为获得荣誉的努力 → 今后的打算

参考回答：I have won the University Comprehensive First-Class Scholarship for three consecutive years. I have also received honors such as University-level Merit Student, University-level Advanced Individual in Scientific and Technological Innovation, as well as the National Encouragement Scholarship. I usually get up early to study until the library closes every night. Although the process was hard, I gained knowledge and experience. I will continue to work hard in future study.

四、读研动机类话题

1. 读研的原因（graduate school/postgraduate entrance examination）

问题：Why do you want to go to graduate school?

回答思路：客观层面（就业需求、专业学习精细化、个人发展）+ 主观层面（热爱科研、喜欢校园氛围、自我提升）

参考回答：I decide to pursue a postgraduate degree to deepen my professional knowledge and enhance my core competitiveness for future employment. What's more, I have a strong passion for academic research and enjoy the academic atmosphere on campus. I hope to keep exploring my major and achieve continuous self-improvement during my postgraduate study.

2. 选择读研的专业的原因（choose this major）

问题：Why do you choose this major?

回答思路：客观层面（专业发展前景、就业前景、导师鼓励）+ 主观层面（本科专业积累、个人兴趣、专业优势）

参考回答：I have always been interested in this major, which is also my undergraduate major. I learned a lot of professional knowledge in college, but I found there is still much to learn during my studies. This major has a good development prospect, so I choose to continue studying it.

3. 跨专业的原因（change your major）

问题：Why do you change your major?

回答思路：客观层面（原专业局限、新专业发展前景、专业相近有交集）+ 主观层面（新专业兴趣、跨学科知识创新、职业规划）

参考回答：I show keen interest in Journalism & Communication, while my undergraduate major is Mass Communication which is too abstract for me. Journalism & Communication is more challenging and has a good career prospect. What's more, the two majors have some intersections, which makes my learning easier. So I decide to change my major.

4. 选择该报考院校的原因（choose to study at our school）

问题：Why do you choose to study at our school/institute?

回答思路：客观层面（学术氛围、学科排名、师资力量、地理位置、硬件设施）+ 主观层面（院校是梦想、亲友毕业于该校、初次参观的好感）

参考回答：Peking University has been my dream school. I'm deeply attracted by its strong academic atmosphere. What's more, Peking University has excellent teachers in my research field and a good reputation. These are the reasons why I choose to study here.

五、未来规划类话题

1. 研究生阶段希望研究的方向及原因（research direction）

问题：Which research direction do you like and why? / What are your plans during graduate school? 你研究生阶段的计划是什么？

I will take an active part in academic conferences and research projects. Meanwhile, I am considering pursuing a PhD. If my postgraduate study goes smoothly, I will keep moving forward with further academic research.

六、压力面试类话题

1. 如果面试失利（failed）

问题：If you failed this time, what will you do in the near future?

回答思路：表明对失败的态度（失败是成功之母）→ 反思自身问题（专业知识/综合能力不足）→ 表达不放弃的决心（继续学习/再战）。

参考回答：I know success and failure coexist in life. If I fail this time, it means I have some shortcomings in professional ability or practical skills. I will reflect on my problems and improve myself pertinently. I will continue to study and prepare for the next exam, because I will never give up my pursuit of postgraduate study.

2. 某门课程不及格/分数低的原因（fail in this course）

问题：Why did you fail in this course?

回答思路：承认挂科不隐瞒 → 阐述原因（态度不端正、学习方法错误、时间分配不当）→ 说明改进方向（端正态度、调整方法、做好时间管理）。

参考回答：I'm sorry I flunked a course in junior year. I just joined the Students' Union at that time and spent too much time on activities, so I neglected my study. I have reflected deeply on it. I will distinguish the primary and secondary tasks and study hard in the future to avoid such mistakes.

3. 如何应对课业负担（course load was the heaviest）

问题：Tell us about the time when your course load was the heaviest and how did you get all of your work done.

回答思路：明确压力最大的时期及困难 → 解决方法+收获（制定计划、正向思考、合理取舍）。

第四部分 视频面试技巧

考研复试可能采用线上视频形式，需做好充分准备，避免失误，核心技巧如下：

1. 熟悉流程：关注招生单位通知，提前和研友/家人演练面试流程；

2. 设备保障：使用电脑，提前调试网络、摄像头、麦克风，选择网络稳定的环境，告知家人避免打扰；

3. 着装得体：无需穿西装，保持整洁、阳光，女生清新、男生干练，镜头感舒适；

4. 环境适宜：选择安静、明亮、整洁的环境，背景无过多杂物，保证老师清晰看到自己；

5. 肢体语言：端正坐姿，丰富表情，适当回应老师（如挥手打招呼），避免僵硬或过度动作；

6. 面试姿势：眼睛看摄像头而非屏幕，身体微微前倾，避免低头看笔记（易被认为作弊）；

7. 确认问题：因网络延迟没听清问题，大胆礼貌请老师重复，不要强答；

8. 心态端正：遇到不会的问题或突发情况不要慌，全力展示自身闪光点，面试是"加分制"；

9. 拒绝作弊：复试全程录音录像，作弊后果严重，避免小动作引发作弊嫌疑；

10. 提前演练：多次模拟视频面试，熟悉镜头感、表达节奏，调整状态至最佳。
