Perception & Hybrid Interaction (PHI) for Augmented & Affective Intelligence (A2I)

We are working on various research topics in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) with a particular focus on the following areas: computer vision (CV) , human computer interaction (HCI) and virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR).

The goal of our research is to develop intelligent systems that can perceive and understand the real world and also interact with human beings simultaneously (e.g., human-computer collaboration, cognitive computing, etc.). In this manner, we aim at achieving Augmented & Affective Intelligence (A2I) beyond both the human intelligence and the artificial intelligence, which could benefit applications such as digital human .
